MS Dhoni, the former Indian skipper is quite a generous personality, who leads Chennai Super Kings in IPL. He is an amazing personality on and off the field. The 38-year-old always comes forward to help his team as well as the opponent players. This is the reason why the cricketing fraternity and fans admire him a lot.

Recently, Imran Tahir, the veteran leg spinner from South Africa came out and said that he will always be grateful to Dhoni for displaying this act of kindness.

The 41-year-old leg spinner is approaching the fag end of his career but he still left with a lot of cricket. He plays for Dhoni-led CSK in IPL and he is a vital part of that franchise. Tahir was bought by Chennai Super Kings in the 2018 auction.

So far, he has played 23 IPL games for CSK and grabbed 36 wickets for his team. In the previous season, he also won the purple cap for taking most wickets (26) in the cash-rich league. There is no doubt over the fact that Tahir’s performance with the ball played an important role in the success of Dhoni and Co, who lost a close final against Mumbai Indians.

Imran Tahir heaps praise on MS Dhoni

After the IPL games, MS Dhoni is quite often spotted giving tips to the young players of his side as well as the opponent team. Meanwhile, he also likes to spend time playing with the kids on the field. In IPL 2019, after CSK defeated KXIP, he was spotted playing with the kids of Shane Watson and Imran Tahir.

He took part in a sprint between the duo’s sons and later on carried junior Tahir to the finish line leaving junior Watson behind. The video soon went viral on social media platforms and the former Indian skipper received lost of praise from his fans and cricketing fraternity for the same.

In an interaction with Rupha Ramani during a live YouTube chat, Tahir talked about the aforementioned instance and said that it was a special moment for his son Gibson. He added the fact that everyone is aware of Dhoni, who is a wonderful personality. As per him, the 38-year-old veteran cricketers is an inspiring figure to everyone at the moment.

“It was very special moment for my son. Very grateful to Mahi bhai. You know what a wonderful guy he is and what a wonderful captain he is. He is also a great human being. That inspires me more about him and his family,” Imran Tahir said in the YouTube chat.
