Cricket is the most loved sport in India and the fans follow it as a religion with the cricketers in the country are worshipped as God. Sachin Tendulkar who used to set the stage on fire with his batting brought the country to a standstill when he retired from the game. The motivation in him and other cricketers make them work hard for their country and the sport. However, a video is currently going viral which proves what motivation and determination can do as a boy who aspires to be a cricketer is seen playing with only one leg.

The internet is on fire as the video is being spread like wildfire in which a boy could be seen playing cricket wearing all the protective guards used at the professional level. He steps out with ease to hit a shot and also attempts to play hoick over mid-wicket. The viewers are left awestruck with his ability and determination to play the game and are lauding the boy hoping that he makes it to the highest level where the game is played for physically handicapped cricketers.

Twitter lauds

The media editor of BBC News Amol Rajan posted the video of the boy playing cricket on just one leg and urged the people to get motivated by him. Twitterati was, as usual, active and took notice of him playing the sport he loves the most despite being handicapped very badly. Many have lauded him for his utter determination and his urge to play the sport even though he is not fully equipped. He is trying his best though and will surely be rewarded for his hard work.

While few hailed him for his ability to balance himself even with one leg and moreover play his shots so fluently, few captioned the video with just one word.

Here’s the video:
