The 4th day of Vijay Hazare Trophy 2017/18 witnessed both big and low totals where a total of nine matches played. Jammu and Kashmir defeated Saurashtra who had the services of the Indian Internationals Cheteshwar Pujara and Ravindra Jadeja while Mumbai edged past Tamil Nadu in a game where Ravichandran Ashwin was the lone warrior for the home team. Players from the victorious Indian team in the recently concluded Under-19 World Cup featured without any significant effort so far.

0 – Ravindra Jadeja failed to take a wicket in the last 48 overs he bowled in List A format. He went wicket-less in the ten overs he bowled against Chhattisgarh in the previous game and against Jammu and Kashmir today. He failed to take a wicket in his last three ODI matches where he bowled 28 overs.
3 – Number of wickets for Ravichandran Ashwin in his ten overs against Mumbai in Chennai. He was also the top-scorer for Tamil Nadu with 41 runs. Ashwin took more than one wicket in each of the last seven games for Tamil Nadu in the List A format where he bowled more than one over.
6/33 – M Prasidh Krishna became the 2nd player to take a 6-wicket haul in List A cricket for Karnataka. He recorded figures of 6/33 in his 8.2 overs against Assam. Ronit More took 6/18 against Goa in the 2011/12 season at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium.
42.19 – Cheteshwar Pujara’s batting strike-rate during his 27-run innings off 64 balls against Jammu and Kashmir that contained 40 dots. He failed to score a boundary during his 64-ball stay as he accumulated those runs in 21 singles and three twos.
73 – Ishan Kishan’s 73-ball century is the fastest hundred for Jharkhand in List A cricket. The Jharkhand’s keeper-captain scored 107 off 75 balls against Services to record team’s fastest ton. Ishank Jaggi’s 82-ball ton also against Services in the last season was the previous fastest List A ton for Jharkhand.
89 – Runs Mohammed Siraj conceded in his ten overs against Vidarbha. These are the most runs conceded by a Hyderabad player in a List A match. Ashish Reddy conceded 88 runs in the 12 overs he bowled in the 2012/13 season match against Karnataka.
237 – The 237-run win for Vidarbha over Hyderabad is their biggest win in terms of runs in the List A format. Vidarbha’s previous biggest win came when they defeated Tripura in the 2015/16 season by a 158-run margin. This is also the biggest defeat for Hyderabad in this format surpassing the 194-run defeat against the Wills XI in the 1995/96 season.
350/6 – Vidarbha’s total of 350/5 against Hyderabad is their highest total in List A cricket. Their previous highest total in this format was 324/5 against Tripura in the 2015/16 season.
