Tamil Nadu defend their Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy

In what was a last-ball thriller, Shahrukh Khan smashed a stunning six to help Tamil Nadu defend its title. The team required five runs off the final ball and the swashbuckling batter Shahrukh Khan made sure he finishes the game for the team. It was agony for Karnataka who put up an extremely strong fight in order to defend the runs on board.

The batter had revealed his conversations with MS Dhoni in the IPL. Whilst recollecting the keeper-batter’s advice Shahrukh Khan said, “He gave me a clear picture of the finisher’s role and asked me to believe whatever you are doing on that particular day is right because you are the best judge and only you know what is running inside your mind when chasing.
