One of the major reasons for this is because of the performance of the national team over the last few years. The team has been constantly improving and challenging the best teams around the world. However, the nation boasts of a wide variety of talent in other sports as well.
The Indian football team has shown promising signs over the past few seasons. But they do not get the support they deserve from the fans.
