There is a reason why the ‘Chasemaster’ is one of the most beloved cricketers in India. There is no point citing out why Virat Kohli is so popular among the females, but also across all generations in the country, irrespective of caste, creed, sex and race.

Be it with his humbling gestures through his visits at old-age homes or heeding to the request of his young fans at the ground, King Kohli has won many hearts through his noble acts. His credentials on the field as a skipper of the Indian team or with the bat is vastly talked about across the world. It can be safely stated that VK is a champion both on and off the field.

In yet another exclusive incident, during the recently concluded India-New Zealand series, Virat Kohli especially took a detour on his way to boarding the team bus to the airport to click a selfie with each and every wheelchair-bound kids waiting to see a glimpse of the superstar of Indian cricket.

Not only that, Virat also breached the tight security arranged for the Indian cricket team to let the kids have memories to cherish for the rest of their lives. Through this act of his, he surely proved that he is the King of winning hearts, not only on the field with the bat but also off it through these little gestures.

The next assignment for Kohli and co. is to overhaul the Sri Lankans in all three formats of the game before departing for South Africa early next year for a full-fledged tour, VK is yet to lose a series since he was appointed as the captain of the Indian team. This overseas tour should turn out to be an acid test for his captaincy as many doubt India’s ability on foreign trips.
