The ongoing Perth Test match has witnessed some exhilarating cricket from both sides. While the Adelaide Oval ended up being a thriller, this game too is slowly edging towards a close finish. While the hosts have the upper hand this time around, they’ll be confident to level the series 1-1. On the other hand, India have a stiff challenge awaiting them in the fourth innings.

Australia were 132/4 at stumps on Day 3 with a lead of 175 runs. The alarm bells may have already started ringing in the Indian dressing room. With the way Nathan Lyon bowled and their batting troubles, India will find it difficult to chase anything above 200 and they are nowhere near stopping the Aussies under that score. It is skipper Virat Kohli who has been the backbone of this Indian batting line-up.

The attention he manages to garner, every time he arrives at the crease is absolutely phenomenal. Even on the field, his animated celebration and antics, the excitement he pumps into his team as well as the fans have always been a talking point. Even commentator Sanjay Manjrekar highlighted the fact during day 3.

As usual, the Indian captain was at his splendid best at Perth today. From being vocal on the field to some fascinating celebrations, from firing up the Indian fans in the crowd to his century celebration. Virat Kohli was all over Perth as he managed to become the focus of attraction almost every minute.

Here is a video of Kohli at his best:

Earlier in the day, the Indian skipper registered a sumptuous hundred. This was his 25th Test century and his sixth in Australia. As the rest of the batting faltered, Kohli took the Indian total ahead batting with the middle and lower order. The last Indian batsman to score a century at Perth was Sachin Tendulkar during the 1999 tour. However, his dismissal sparked some controversy as replays suggested the ball might as well have been grounded.
