Virat Kohli loved Anushka Sharma's performance in Zero; gets badly trolled

While Virat Kohli is in Australia fighting it out in the ongoing Test series, his wife Anushka Sharma sizzled on the screen in the recently released movie Zero. The movie is a multi-starrer with Shah Rukh Khan and Katrin Kaif also featuring in it. The story revolves mainly around Anushka and Shah Rukh as both the actors have performed their roles really well and no wonder the Indian captain loved his wife’s acting.

Anushka has essayed a role of a physically challenged scientist who successfully leads the project in NASA (termed as NSAR in the film). Even the superstar Shah Rukh is a vertically challenged person from Meerut and falls in love with Anushka and the whole film revolves around them.

While the film has taken a hit with a negative word of mouth, Virat Kohli has loved it as he watched the movie in Melbourne three days before the Boxing Day Test.

Kohli tweets and gets trolled

The movie is getting negative response thanks to a poor script but Virat has taken a liking to it lauding the roles of all the actors. He preferred to be safe as well mentioning that he enjoyed the film and the Indian skipper didn’t mince words while praising his wife Anushka who has done exceedingly well in her role.

“Saw @Zero21Dec and loved the entertainment it brought. I enjoyed myself. Everyone played their parts well. Loved @AnushkaSharma performance because I felt it was a very challenging role and she was outstanding,” Kohli’s tweet read.

Meanwhile, the fans have trolled Kohli to the hilt for liking the film despite not being so good. Many feel that he had to tweet because it was his wife’s movie while there were also a few who went on to say that he is promoting the mega-starrer flick as it has not garnered the expected response from the fans.
