Indian captain Virat Kohli is currently spending his time preparing for the upcoming tour to West Indies and fulfilling his endorsement commitments. Kohli declined selectors’ offer of resting after a tumultuous ICC World Cup 2019 and made himself available for all the three formats on the tour of the Caribbean starting from August 3.

There were talks of a review of the Team India’s performance in the ICC event, where they lost only two matches in the tournament, one to England in the league stages and then to New Zealand in the semi-finals. However, the Supreme Court-appointed CoA decided not to opt for any reviews and instead have gone for advertising for posts of the coaching staff to be filled in September.

De Villiers leaves hilarious comment on Kohli’s dance video

Meanwhile, Kohli has been shooting for commercials it seems. Kohli is known for his dancing prowess which has been on display numerous times on the dance floor and even on the ground. In a video posted by the cricketer himself, he is seen shooting a commercial for a brand he endorses and is grooving as a camera follows him.

Kohli added the video with the caption, “Positivity attracts positivity. Your choice defines your outcome.”

The post got many likes, but one of the best comments came from his RCB mate AB de Villiers. Given the closeness between the two world-class batsmen, De Villiers found Kohli’s dance groovy and commented, “Moooooves”. He then wrote, “Imagine I had to do that!”

The Delhi-born cricketer was placed in the list of the richest celebs of Instagram in 2019. He was at the 23rd spot in the overall list and 9th among the sportspeople. As per HopperHQ.com (an Instagram scheduling tool), Kohli charges nearby $196,000 (Rs 1,35,66,749 app) for every post on the social media platform and this had made him one of the highest-paid athletes on the picture-sharing app.

Kohli will now lead the Indian team in what will be their first Test series under the newly minted ICC Test Championship against the West Indies and will be in charge of a new-look Indian T20 team. MS Dhoni made himself unavailable for the whole tour and will instead serve the Indian army in Kashmir for 15 days.
