Although Virat Kohli has got a plethora of success on the cricket field, he also has a love for football. The 32-year-old has been spotted playing the popular game on massive occasions and also talking about it. Now, those who are following the Indian skipper regularly must be knowing that Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo is his favourite player. Kohli revealed the same during a live Instagram session with Indian football team captain Sunil Chhetri last year.

Now, Kohli has once again highlighted that he closely follows the Juventus striker and the news around him. On Saturday, the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) captain, who’s currently serving quarantine in Mumbai, initiated a Question/Answer session on Instagram.

Questions came in from different parts, and Kohli answered many of them. One fan asked the veteran cricketer what’s the last thing he has searched for on Google. In response, he wrote: “Cristiano Ronaldo transfer.”

Ronaldo’s transfer has been a massive topic of discussion in the football world for a while. The five-time Ballon D’Or winner, who’s currently a part of Italian club Juventus, is expected to change his team for the next season. Hence, many Ronaldo fans are eager to find out where the 36-year-old goes next, and Kohli also belongs to that category.

Virat Kohli preparing for World Test Championship final

Meanwhile, Kohli was last seen in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021, which got postponed midway due to the COVID-19 crisis. As of now, the batting stalwart is gearing up for the much-awaited ICC World Test Championship final, which gets underway on June 18 at the Ageas Bowl in Southampton.

However, a massive challenge is lying ahead of Team India as they’ll fly to England on June 2 and will further undergo a 10-day isolation period upon their arrival. Hence, they won’t get much time to get in the groove. On the other hand, New Zealand will lock horns with hosts England ahead of the WTC final. Thus, the Blackcaps have a great chance of adapting to the English conditions and identifying their best playing XI. However, Kane Williamson’s men must not forget that India is the top-ranked Test side.
