Virat Kohli spends time in Met while holidaying with Anushka Sharma in the US

While the BCCI, CAC and CoA are currently engaged in tussle regarding the appointment of the new coach, Virat Kohli seems distant from all the action, far away in a different continent, to spend some quality time with girlfriend and Bollywood Diva Anushka Sharma. Kohli has been flooding social media with his Tweets and Instagram account, as he enjoys a well-earnt vacation.

This time around, the Indian skipper posted a picture of him visiting Met Cloisters while appreciating the beauty of the museum. The picture of Virat Kohli with Anushka Sharma in the streets of New York is still doing rounds all over the internet.

The Indian captain has been playing non-stop cricket since August 2016, where they took on the West Indies in a Test affair. The circle of their India’s itinerary completed recently as they concluded the series against the Carribean, almost a year since August last. In between the two series, India hosted Australia, England, New Zealand, and Bangladesh, in the grand home season of Test Cricket.

As soon as the Test Series concluded, Indian players took part in the IPL. Kohli missed out on the first few matches of the league due to the shoulder injury he sustained while fielding in the Ranchi Test. As soon as the IPL concluded, Virat led the Indian side to the finals of the Champions Trophy. The season finally concluded for Kohli with the recent ODI series win against West Indies.

Earlier, Steve Smith took his girlfriend to the US, with the national team and the cricket board in turmoil over payment disputes. Suresh Raina also spent quality time with family in Amsterdam. Mohammad Hafeez and Wasim Akram currently are holidaying in Austria and Bali respectively. Seems like the entire cricketing fraternity is making most of the off-season.
