Virat Kohli throws a challenge at Journalists
When Kohli sat down for the interaction, he decided to throw a challenge towards the media personnel. “Let’s make them play against our bowlers,” the Indian captain said jokingly as quoted by Cricketnext.
Considering the current form of the Indian bowlers, it would have been a foolish decision on the part of the Journalists to accept Virat Kohli’s challenge even though it was just a friendly banter.
Talking about the tournament
After the friendly banter, Virat Kohli went on to elaborate Team India’s plans in the Champions trophy and about the upcoming match. He stressed the importance of the need to make improvements, especially in the fielding department, an area in which Indian team severely lacked considering their high standards in that department in recent times.
After from the minor blip in the fielding department, Team India looked in top shape in all the other departments hence many experts have acknowledged India as favorites for the tournament.
India can make their stake for semi-finals berth stronger with a win against neighbors Sri Lanka tomorrow but for that, they would hope weather remains clear tomorrow like today
