Virat Kohli, the Indian skipper like many other international cricketers has shifted his focus to social media as there is no cricket around. However, very few expected him to indulge in cheeky banter with former England skipper Kevin Pietersen on a throwback post.

The 31-year-old never used to get ample time to spend with his wife and family. But, in the ongoing lockdown, he is doing everything and utilising the opportunity to the fullest. He is interacting with the fans and other fellow cricketers. Recently, his better half Anushka Sharma shared a clip of him walking like a dinosaur and screaming in its voice. In fact, the hilarious video got viral soon on social media to become a meme fest.

Kevin Pietersen tries to troll Indian skipper

It is well known that players have got heavy beard in the past couple of months in the lockdown. Keeping a note of it, Kohli took to his official Instagram handle and he shared a throwback picture where he is well-groomed with a perfect beard. As soon as Kevin Pietersen came across the post, he suggested the Indian skipper to shave his beard off. “Shave your beard off,” his comment read.

The 31-year-old, in response, hilariously trolled the former England cricketer stating that the beard is at least better than his Tik Tok videos. His reply read,”@kp24 better than your TikTok videos.” Pietersen has been posting some hilarious TikTok videos in the recent past. He has been also tapping his feet on some Hindi and Telugu songs just like how David Warner has been doing these days.

In the concluded month, Virat Kohli had shared a clip where he talked about the importance of being well-groomed. As per him, staying clean keeps him in his zone. So, he tried trimming his beard and sported a new look in lockdown. In that post, Pietersen had hilariously trolled Kohli and asked if he could get rid of his grey beard by doing so.
