Newlyweds Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma are currently together in South Africa. While Virat will be with the Indian team for the series, wife Anushka is expected to return to India in the first week of January for her upcoming film. The Bollywood actress will start prepping for ‘Sui Dhaaga’ as the shooting for the same starts in February 2018 with Varun Dhawan. Anushka will also be busy with the marketing and promotions of Pari which is releasing on February 9.

Virat and Anushka tied the knot in December last year and have been busy hosting parties since then. Kohli will be returning to action after opting out of the limited-overs series against Sri Lanka for his wedding. The South Africa tour would be Kohli’s first assignment post marriage. However, during their travels in the rainbow nation, the duo caught up with an unlikely friend. They were spotted with Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar, who is also in the country with his family.

India will face an uphill task despite having one of the best teams on paper

The Virat Kohli led side dominated the home season beating every formidable opponent. Thus under the tutelage of Kohli and a newfound confidence, the current Indian team is expected to do wonders in the upcoming South Africa tour.

However, despite having one of the best teams on paper, the Men in Blue will face an uphill task in the rainbow nation. India have never won a Test series in South Africa and the team will need to produce something special if they wish to overturn their woeful fortunes.

The numero uno Test team will lock horns with the second-placed Proteas in what promises to be a gruelling contest to establish dominion. India are scheduled to play three Tests, 6 ODIs, and three T20Is against South Africa on the tour.
