Virender Sehwag and Chris Gayle's post-match Twitter convo is pure gold

Preity Zinta’s KXIP did a world of good by picking the world boss Chris Gayle in their squad in the IPL 2018 Auction. KXIP launched Chris Gayle in their playing in the third game of the season and he produced two match-winning knocks against Chennai Super Kings and Sunrisers Hyderabad.

The universe boss Chris Gayle smashed the first century of the season, which propelled Kings XI Punjab to a dominating total in the first innings against Sunrisers Hyderabad. The visitors were never in the game as they conceded the game to hosts by 15 runs batting the whole 20 overs.

Sehwag saved IPL by picking me

After the game, Chris Gayle credited Virender Sehwag for saving the IPL by picking him in the auction. Gayle’s funny post-match quotes went on as he wants to talk with the team mentor Sehwag on his idea of picking him for just two games as the latter said about it after the IPL 2018 Auction.

“A lot of people might say that Chris has a lot to prove – he didn’t get selected or wasn’t picked early in the auction. I think Virender Sehwag has saved IPL by picking me. This is a brilliant start. Viru said in an interview that if Chris Gayle can win us two games, we have got our money’s worth. I’d like to have another word with Viru and see what happens from thereon.
