Virender Sehwag comes up with hilarious birthday wish for Muttiah Muralitharan

Former Indian cricketer Virender Sehwag is renowned for his hilarious updates on the social media. In the last year or so, Sehwag has become an internet sensation. His witty social media updates are something that the fans follow very keenly. Loaded with sarcasm and puns, the former Indian opener is a certain entertainer off the field as well. He usually gives his insights on the trending issues with a touch of sarcasm flavour to it.

But the tweets that the people wait eagerly for are the ones pertaining to the birthday wishes. Virender Sehwag has made it a habit of sending hilarious birthday wishes to his fellow cricketers and every other celebrity he is closely associated with. He ends up trolling his fellow colleagues with those tweets. Needless to say, the fans absolutely love it as they are in for entertainment nevertheless.

Former Sri Lankan spin wizard Muttiah Muralitharan became his latest bunny on Twitter. Muttiah Muralitharan turned 44 on April 17 this year. Sehwag was quick to take to the micro-blogging site Twitter to come up with a funny birthday wish for the spin legend. In his tweet, he used a heavy pun that can give any person a facepalm moment. He spelt Muttiah as ‘Maut Aaya’ which translates to ‘Coming death’.

He wrote that whenever Murali came into bowl, the batsmen knew it was their death coming their way. Virender Sehwag tweeted, “Happy Birthday to the great man, who not only surprised batsman but himself looked surprised & batsman used to think ‘Maut Aaya Muralitharan'”.

He even shared a picture of Muralitharan along with the tweet that sees a venomous expression on the face of the legendary cricketer. Well, the fans absolutely loved the way Sehwag wished Murali. Murali has not given his reply to the tweet yet, but we expect the spin wizard to throw up a googly too.
