The aura of Sachin Tendulkar continues to grow even today. Even during the match between India Legends and Bangladesh Legends in Road Safety World Series, there were plenty of fans who turned out to the stadium to watch their ‘God’ in action. And, Tendulkar is not just the cricketing God to the people in India, he is even venerated by his team mates as well.

It is a well-known fact that Indian cricketing legend Virender Sehwag idolizes Tendulkar. The two have opened for India in innumerable matches in their playing days, and have provided memories that will last a lifetime for the fans. And now, Sehwag has shared an adorable video on Instagram.

In the video, Tendulkar could be seen taking an injection and getting match ready. Sehwag refers to Tendulkar as the God and states that the ‘Master Blaster’ has taken a couple of injections and is getting ready for the game. The physio is also seen in the video, and he reveals that Tendulkar is still fit and is practicing seriously. Yuvraj Singh chips in with a one liner as well. You can see the video below.

Virender Sehwag and Sachin Tendulkar still in sublime form

It was an absolute treat for the fans to watch Virender Sehwag and Sachin Tendulkar in the Road Safety World Series against the Bangladesh Legends at Raipur. The Bangladesh Legends batted first and posted a mediocre total of 109 runs on the board.

In reply, Tendulkar and Sehwag unleashed a brutal assault on the opposition. The two batting gladiators put on an undefeated partnership of 114 runs for the first wicket and helped the India Legends side chase down the target in just 10.1 overs.

While Sehwag scored a breath taking 35 ball 80*, Tendulkar scored a sedate 33* off 26 deliveries. None of the Bangladesh bowlers who rolled their arm over went at an economy rate of less than 8.50 runs per over.

Tendulkar and Sehwag are two of the greatest batsmen to have wielded the willow for India. While Tendulkar is the highest run scorer in both Tests (15921) and ODIs (18426) and is also the only batsman in history to have plundered a staggering 100 international hundreds, Sehwag is the only Indian batsman to have scored two triple hundreds in Test match cricket.
