Former Indian allrounder Ajit Agarkar who played 191 ODI and 26 Tests for the national team celebrates his 39th birthday today and how could Virender Sehwag miss out on the opportunity to wish his former teammate? Needless to say, Viru was once again at his quirky best and almost trolled Agarkar with his message.
Sehwag posted a tweet with his ODI stats – 288 wickets in 191 matches, called it a big achievement in his career, he mentioned Agarkar’s century at Lord’s the Home of Cricket and referred to it as a bigger achievement, but that wasn’t all, guess what Viru thinks is the biggest achievement? Five Test ducks in a row, the unwanted record that the Mumbai pacer holds is the most significant achievement of Agarkar’s career if Sehwag’s tweet is to be believed. To top it up, he also called him the Modern Day Aryabhatt, yes Aryabhatt the one who invented zero.
He wrote, “Hpy Bday @imAagarkar.
288wkts,191ODI mtchs-big achvmnt.
100atLord’s-bigger achvmnt
5Test Ducks in a row-Biggest achvmnt

Agarkar was quite modest in his reply and played safe by just thanking the former Indian opener for the wishes.
@virendersehwag thanks Viru

Earlier today, Viru also tweeted about the India Women’s team that beat Pakistan in the final of the Asia Cup to win the title for a record 6th time. He not only congratulated the Indian team saying that the girls played well but also mentioned that they didn’t give the opponent any chance. Sehwag didn’t miss out on the chance to touch upon the ‘Mauka Mauka’ theme that signifies Pakistan’s failure to beat the Indian team in a single World Cup match the two teams have faced off in the history of the tournament.
Sehwag wrote – “Congratulations Girls on beating Pakistan in the Women’s #AsiaCup .
The Girls played really well.
No Mauka for the opposition.”
