Two stalwarts of their own industries, former India opener turned commentator Virender Sehwag, and Bollywood megastar Shah Rukh Khan met each other at the studio for the ICC Champions Trophy finals between India and Pakistan, which was a one-sided affair for the champions Pakistan. SRK had gone to the studio to promote his upcoming movie ‘When Harry met Sejal’ where the King of trolls Sehwag took a slight dig at him.

Viru expressed his and his son’s fondness for SRK’s movie Ra. One, which remains Khan’s least liked film by the fans. This was a troll on SRK, taking a dig at his movie which didn’t run well in the cinema halls. Sehwag also asked the actor when the sequel of the movie will be made. The former Indian opener probably wasn’t aware the Shah Rukh is the wittiest and the funniest Bollywood actor who in his reply said the sequel would be out soon by next year. Not stopping at that, Sehwag went on to say that his kids watch this particular movie every week!

Another troll for the Badshah of Bollywood came when Sehwag was in the commentary box. He passed a comment which may have made SRK angry. He said, “Aap bahut jyada smoke karte hain”. Although he must have said it in a funny way, it is still not sure how SRK took it. But some people on Twitter discussed this extensively after hearing the commentary.

On the other hand, both the cricket and Bollywood heroes may have shared similar sentiments after India were thrashed by Pakistan in the finals of the Champions Trophy 2017.

Sehwag suddenly moral policing SRK on smoking may not have gone down well with the latter’s fans. Taking a slight dig is one thing, but making a personal attack on air is another, and maybe Sehwag should have kept his emotions in control.
