Former Indian opener Virender Sehwag is an extremely popular figure on social media. Sehwag has garnered an enormous fan base on Twitter with his unique and humorous tweets. In fact, a number of fans eagerly wait for his tweets every day. And recently the swashbuckling batsman took to his account to wish birthday to Bollywood star Akshay Kumar on his birthday.
The Nawab of Najafgarh was well known in the cricket community for his carefree attitude during his playing days as he was capable of decimating any bowling attack in the world. However, even after his retirement, the Delhi cricketer has made sure to keep his fans entertained. The man, who once ruled our hearts with his volatile batting is now doing the same with his Tweets.
Coming to the latest post, Sehwag did not wish any cricketer and instead wished Bollywood star Akshay Kumar. Arguably, one of the most versatile actors currently in Bollywood, Akshay turned 50 today and Sehwag did not miss the chance to convey his heartfelt wished to the actor. He has also wished the former Delhi Daredevils brand ambassador last year on his birthday and lauded him for being the best all-rounder in Bollywood.
However, this time around, Sehwag kept his wish short and crisp. He posted, “Happy Birthday @akshaykumar . Have a wonderful day and life ahead.”

Sehwag is known to be very active on Twitter and has adapted very well to it. Not the one to mince words, he never shies away from making any bold comments on any topic. A couple of days back, Sehwag took to the micro blogging site and in a series of tweets, he talked about the inspiring work Gangadhara Tilak Katnam is doing. 66-year-old Katnam has been in the news for his social work but getting a mention from an international cricketer like Virender Sehwag made it worthy.
