Jordan Slik catch the best catch of the BBL: The Big Bash League (BBL) has over its seasons given viewers the best of the best experiences. The BBL has already started to show glimpses of yet another mind blowing season. In only a few matches we have seen some of the best T20 knocks by veteran batsmen and breath taking fast bowling spells from the fast bowlers. One of the most eye catching and one which will have a lasting impact is this catch that Jordan Slik took.

Calling it the best catch of the season would still not justify it thus we would like to categorise it into one of the best catches in the BBL history. The fielders at mid on and mid off are on more occasions to stop a quick single and they are the sharper fielders in the team. Slik guarded the mid on for Sydney Sixers as former Australian pacer Brett Lee ran into bowl.

The safest and the best shots to hit even when the ball is moving is with a straight bat into the V in straight down the ground. The batsman, England international Craig Kieswetter too tried a similar shot and thought it would get him four runs with a calculated amount of risk. But no, he misjudged the risk factor involved.

Jordan Slik standing wide of the regular position predominantly moved to his left and threw himself into the air, a fully extended dive that kept him off the ground for a few seconds. Keeping complete control on his motion, Jordan also caught the ball and completed a mid blowing, wonderful catch which looks so pleasing and a real beauty.

This is for sure the best catch of the BBL so far and Jordan Slik can be proud of his effort which we will also like to term one of the best in BBL history.
