Pakistan Test skipper Misbah-ul-Haq has been one of the most consistent performers for the national side in the recent times. Misbah is the man behind Pakistan’s resurgence in the longest format of the game. Albeit the most recent times have not been fruitful for him, one cannot take the credits away from him for taking Pakistan to great heights.

It was under his captaincy that Pakistan reached the top spot in the ICC Test rankings for a brief while. Just as calm he is on the field, he is a gentleman off the field too. It is very seldom that Misbah-ul-Haq is seen criticizing any fellow teammate or an opposition player for that matter. He lives up to the spirit of the game. The veteran batsman found himself in a spot of bother when he had to play t20 off the field.

It was during a TV show when the anchor pushed rapid fire questions to Misbah. The Pakistani cricketer found it tough to answer most of them and was diplomatic on all grounds. He was firstly asked to pick the better player among Virat Kohli, Umar Akmal and Ahmed Shehzad.

Misbah took very little time to pick Kohli as the better player among the three. He rightly cited the current records that work in favor of Kohli. The next question was asked about who has the better dance moves among Umar Akmal, Chris Gayle and Dwayne Bravo. The Pakistani Test skipper picked the two Caribbean players as his answer. The anchor mocked back saying whether he is indicating that Umar Akmal is not good enough with his moves. The crowds erupted in laughter after this moment.

The last question was a tricky one for Misbah. He was asked to pick his favorite bowler among Mohammad Asif and Mohammad Amir. Misbah chose the senior bowler Mohammad Asif as his favorite bowler. He added that in the longer format, Asif has to be the one. The next set of questions were based on what Misbah thinks some cricketers could do as an alternate profession.

Among the notable ones, Misbah remarked that Shahid Afridi would be good in the Showbiz industry and Mohammad Asif could well fit in the police department.
