The captains might change, the look of the side might change, and the name might change – but one thing that remains constant for the Rising Pune Supergiant fans is the presence of MS Dhoni in their side. Dhoni is arguably the most popular and the most loved player on the RPS roster. He led the team in their debut season last year but the performances of the team were far from being impressive.

However, Dhoni did show the glimpses of his prowess in the last league match of the tournament when he smashed 23 off the final over bowled by Kings XI Punjab bowler Axar Patel to ensure they do not take the wooden spoon in the season. Despite the fact that the team struggled largely, one cannot take anything away from the fact that MS Dhoni has been a brilliant captain in the history of the Indian Premier League.

His numbers for the Chennai Superkings speak volumes about the kind of leader he is. Despite the stats, the RPS owners opted to switch captaincy duties from Dhoni to Steve Smith. The captaincy might have gone away but the aura that MSD has remains intact. In this video, MS is seen arriving at the team hotel in a stunning tuxedo look.

The next few frames sees him walk out in the practice jersey to have his net sessions at the venue in Pune. Then comes the best part. MS Dhoni shows some brilliant shots in the practice session that includes a couple of helicopter shots too. The kind of hitting he is doing in this video should be a good warning for the oppositions in the tournament this year.

The official Facebook handle of the Rising Pune Supergiant posted the video and the fans are going gaga over it. Watch MS Dhoni arrive in grand style for the Rising Pune Supergiant:
