Watch: Steve Smith captures Dhoni's big hitting on his drone camera

Rising Pune Supergiant have been on a merry run this season. They started off on a high by winning their first game but then lost their plot midway. Just when the people had started ruling them out, the players started peaking at the right time. Now, they have won 6 out of their last 7 matches and are set to qualify for the playoffs. Needless to say, the senior players of the team Steve Smith and MS Dhoni are very pleased with the team effort.

The team has started gelling well as a unit and that is evident from the fact that the team is enjoying their practice sessions a lot. Recently, Steve Smith was seen having fun with the teammates with his new found ‘hobby’. Smith took his drone camera to shoot the Rising Pune Supergiant players practice at the MCA Stadium in Pune. Out of all the shots taken by him, the one that caught the attention of all was MS Dhoni’s power hit down the ground.

Rahul Tripathi and Dan Christian also watched Steve Smith control the drone cam with the remote control screen. They seemed to have enjoyed a lot. Well, by the look of things, it seems Smith can be a handy photographer too. Smith posted the video shot by his cameras on his social media handle.

He added a caption that read, “Me and my new hobby. Love flying my new drone. Even got @mahi7781 smashing a big 6 at practice. #mavicpro #drone #hobby.”

Talking about the team performances, the RPS has been on a winning spree. The happy noted started for them ever since an unbeaten 61 from MS Dhoni guided them to a stiff run chase against the Sunrisers Hyderabad. Since then, some or the other player has risen to the occasion for them. Be it Ben Stokes hitting a ton, or Rahul Tripathi providing fiery starts; RPS have been all over the oppositions.

Their next match is against the Delhi Daredevils on May 12 at Delhi.
