We have all grown up with cricket, who has not played Gully cricket? Every street has its own team, its own set of rules, the boundaries, which shot will get you out, those are all so unique.

A batsman would be crowded with fielders around waiting to even get a bumped ball caught and the batsman had to leave his bat there, it was hilarious, we all knew and knows how it is actually played by mandatory rules but when it comes to our street, we amend them and adapt it to suit the surrounding.

As we grow up, the street cricket takes us to a maidan, we get our own bats, soon comes the cricket kit, from the maidans to the grounds and gradually also molding ourselves into the actual MCC rules which are followed.

But one should never lose the roots; so here is a throwback video, specially made to get you a feel of your childhood. This will surely get you into the flashback, visuals of the days spent on the street playing cricket be it the beating sun, or heavy rain nothing could stop the passion.
