Watch: Australian Cricket team's sketch contest after the Test win against India

Australia came in with a lot of hope and preparation for this tour of India and all the hard work is starting to pay off beautifully for Steve Smith & Co. They smashed India in their own backyard by over three hundred runs in the first Test at Pune. They have taken a 1-0 lead in the series and are cruising into the Bangalore Test.

This win against India at their home ground was one of the rarest wins for Australia as they were given no chance by the pundits and the fans before the Test began. But as the game finished within three days they had some spare time on their hands and Australians are using that time to have some fun, and they deserve it.

Cricket Australia recently posted a video on their Facebook page where some of their players were asked to draw a sketch of Steve Smith and there were some not so amazing results there. Steve O’Keefe, Matthew Renshaw, Peter Handscomb, Michael Swepson and Josh Hazlewood were the players who tried their hand at this challenge.

All the players were asked to sign their own sketch and Steve Smith would rank them. Josh Hazlewood drew a stickman instead of Smith while O’Keefe admitted that he is not one of the best drawers.

The skipper was not so shocked at the drawings and was quick to pin that there are not many artists in the team. He also described one of the sketches as “horrendous” and was “shocked” as well. David Warner and Mitchel Starc were having a laugh with Smith as well.

Steve O’Keefe carried his good form right into the sketching competition and grabbed the number one spot in Smith’s rankings as his sketch was a bit less disturbing as compared to the others.
