A proper run-up is a basic essential for any bowler. Without a proper run-up and action, one would never be able to bowl perfectly with accuracy as it helps you to gain the right momentum and rhythm before delivering the ball at the batsman.

Bowlers form the backbone of the any team. But, every now and then, we can come across many bowlers whose bowling style are totally unique and unorthodox. Say, for example, Lasith Malinga, who had a slingy action, Ashoke Dinda would take a huge leap before bowling while Sohail Tanvir bowled with a wrong foot action. Also, there can be no one like Paul Adams and his ‘frog in the blender’ style action. Such action and bowling styles are totally contradictory to what a coach would teach any of his budding cricketers.

But, then there are some bowlers whose action can be totally funny apart from having a quality of  being ‘weird’. They have the hilarious way of delivering the leather ball at the batsman. These odd and the bizarre bowlers stun the batsmen as well as the spectators, sometimes forcing them to burst into laughter.

Here in this video, we bring you the funniest bowling action ever. The bowler appears to be a club cricketer. He starts with Abdul Qadir style angular run-up. However, instead of coming in front-on, he starts hopping sideways towards the bowling crease. After hopping into the crease, he then delivers an off-break with a bent arm while his non-bowling arm remains straight. His bowling doesn’t look effective at all but his quirky way of delivering the ball was noteworthy.
