The players of team India are known to share great camaraderie among themselves. In the recent times, an archived video of Yuvraj Singh and Parthiv Patel has started trending on the social media. The video sees Yuvraj slapping Parthiv during a cricket game. While many took the case in a negative sense, the video is clearly an example of great understanding that the players share.

Yuvraj Singh is seen whacking the helmet grill of Parthiv after a good conversation during the game. The whack was possibly to pat Parthiv for his good run during the innings. Dating back to the occasion, the match was played between India and New Zealand. It was the 5th ODI of the New Zealand tour of India during the 2010 season.

Team New Zealand had suffered a batting collapse after they had opted to bat first. Only two players – Jamie How and Scott Styris – could cross the 20-run mark in the batting order. The team was bundled out for a paltry 103 in 27.1 overs. Ravichandran Ashwin was the pick of the bowlers with 3/24 to his name.

In the run chase, India lost Gautam Gambhir for a duck and Virat Kohli perished after scoring only 2. At 10/2, Yuvraj Singh walked in to join hands with Parthiv Patel at the crease. The two batsmen went on to add an unbeaten 97 run stand to steer India to a thumping 8 wicket win in the match. The whacking incident happened when the team was nearing the target.

After the 17th over of the game, Yuvraj and Parthiv got to the middle of the pitch and shared a few words. They were back to their business after the small talk. Just before parting ways to move to the opposite ends of the crease, Yuvraj whacked the helmet of Parthiv. Parthiv turned his head around and moved to the batting crease. Parthiv ended up scoring an unbeaten 56 iff 70 balls and Yuvraj had an unbeaten score of 42 in 46 balls to his name.
