Women’s Big Bash League (WBBL) is set to get underway with its first match being played on the 25th of October between Perth Scorchers and Brisbane Heat in North Sydney. This tournament, over the years, has produced brilliant players who have ended up playing for Australia and other respective countries.
WBBL has witnessed big names from India like Smriti Mandhana and Harmanpreet Kaur playing their trade as well. But they will miss out this season due to Women’s T20 Challenge clashing with this competition. It will be interesting to see which of the eight teams battling it out for the trophy will end up the title and we can definitely expect some thrilling action this summer down under.
Here are 5 players whom can pick as multipliers in your Dream11 Fantasy team for WBBL:
1. Sophie Devine
Sophie Devine has been phenomenal throughout WBBL since she started playing for her franchise. She has amazed everyone with her performances, be it with the bat or with the ball. She has scored 2174 runs from 66 matches and has picked 60 wickets. To add a cherry on top of the cake, she has even scored a century and fourteen fifties. Devine can definitely be a multiplier for your Dream11 team.
2. Ellyse Perry
Ellyse Perry doesn’t need any introduction, does she? She has scored two centuries and 17 fifties and has been economical with the ball. No matter for which team she plays, be it Australia or her WBBL franchise Sydney Sixers, she is a match-winner for your Dream11 team as well. Returning from injury, expect Perry to set the records straight and dominate WBBL.
3. Meg Lanning
Meg Lanning had a purple patch last season in the WBBL. She notched up 4 fifties and 1 century with a brilliant average of 40.84. Overall she has scored 19 fifties and without any doubt, she is a multiplier in your Dream11 team. The Australian captain was in great form recently against the White Ferns and will be definitely eyeing to go big this season.
4. Beth Mooney
Beth Mooney had a dream run last season. She scored 743 runs from 16 matches at a humongous average of 74.3, striking at 125.08. Adding to her records, she has smacked 25 fifties and 9 of them came in last season. Considering these huge numbers, she can definitely multiply your points in Dream11 Fantasy on a regular basis.
5. Jess Jonassen
Jess Jonassen is a legend from Australia and she shines even more while playing in the WBBL. At the international level, she is mostly used with the ball.
