Preview
Adelaide Strikers and Hobart Hurricanes are set to lock horns in Match No.10 of the WBBL at the Invermay Park in Launceston. The Strikers, led by Tahlia McGrath, are sitting pretty on top of the points table. In their previous game on October 20, they beat the Melbourne Renegades by eight wickets.
The Hurricanes, on the other hand, are hanging in the middle with one win from three games. But they will be going into the game on the back of a 63-run win over the Melbourne Stars. The Stars also started their campaign with two losses before defeating the Sydney Sixers on October 20.
The Heat, led by Jess Jonassen, missed out in their first game after Perth Scorchers beat them in the Super Over. However, they came back to beat the same opponent by 59 runs on October 19 at the Bellerive Oval. They will be looking to put in a similar showing against the Stars next time.

Adelaide Strikers Women vs Hobart Hurricanes Women
Probable best batter of the match
Dane van Niekerk – Adelaide Strikers Women
Dane van Niekerk has been a brute force for South Africa at the top of the order. In the WBBL she failed to deliver in the first game, but played a handy cameo in the second match. The onus will again be on her to give the Strikers a fast start.
Probable best bowler of the match
Amanda-Jade Wellington— Adelaide Strikers Women
Amada-Jade Wellington is an exciting prospect with the ball in hand. She was a prolific wicket-taker in the previous season and she hasn’t started off poorly this season. Wellington is again expected to make an impact in the middle overs.
Melbourne Stars Women vs Brisbane Heat Women
Probable best batter of the match
Meg Lanning – Melbourne Stars Women
Meg Lanning is one of the best batter Australia have produced over the years. She also did well for the Stars in the previous edition of the WBBL. However, she has looked a tad off colour this season. But keeping in mind her class, she is expected to stage a comeback.
Probable best bowler of the match
Poonam Yadav – Brisbane Heat Women
Poonam Yadav is a bowler, who has done well regardless of the conditions she has played well. In the first two games, she did an excellent job of picking up wickets and keeping a check on the runs. The Stars’ batters need to play him with caution.
Today’s match prediction
Match 10- Adelaide Strikers to win.
Match 11- The team, batting second to win
