‘We are here’ – Anushka Sharma announces Dubai arrival with Virat Kohli for UAE leg of IPL 2021

The UAE stint of IPL 2021 is all set to get underway on September 19 wherein Rohit Sharm-led Mumbai Indians will lock horns against MS Dhoni-led Chennai Super Kings for the opening clash. As players and franchise members are gradually reaching the Gulf nation, RCB star and skipper Virat Kohli has also landed in Dubai with his wife Anushka Sharma and Vamika.

As soon as Anushka landed in Dubai with her family, she shared a picture on her IG story stating, ‘we are here, Dubai’. The backdrop was colored in the shades of Royal Challengers Bangalore’s team color. Just before sharing this on her story, she came up with another story, where she bid goodbye to the UK. She stated – “Adios UK, you have been great as always.”

It has to be noted that Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli were blessed with a baby girl on January 11, 2021. Later, the name of the child was revealed to be Vamika and her face still remains hidden from the public and social media world. After the birth of their daughter, the power couple has been spending most of their time together. Anushka has been with Kohli ever since India landed in the UK for the finale of the World Test Championship in June.

In these two months in the UK, she kept sharing great pictures from her pic and kept fans entertained. Indeed, Anushka and Kohli have had a quality time in the UK and now the family has moved to Dubai for the second leg of IPL 2021. As per the directions of BCCI, every player coming from the UK will observe a mandatory quarantine of six days.

Kohli will be seen leading his franchise RCB in the second leg where their hunt for the maiden IPL glory will continue. Talking about their Indian leg of IPL 2021, the franchise started on a fine note and is currently placed at 3rd position on the points table. The franchise has won five out of their seven games so far and will look up to maintain their momentum.
