The outbreak of coronavirus has wreaked havoc over the whole world and every individual across the globe in grappling the adverse effects of the pandemic. The pandemic has taken a toll on all sporting events around the globe. From the much-awaited IPL 2020 to the prestigious Tokyo Olympics 2020– the coronavirus outbreak has not spared any sporting extravaganza.

Every major sporting event has either been postponed or cancelled in the wake of the pandemic. Furthermore, India’s PM Narendra Modi has also announced a 21-day lockdown across the nation in order to battle against the increasing spread of the novel coronavirus. Amid the lockdown, many celebrities are currently spending their quarantine time by either interactive with their fans on Twitter or by sweating it out in home workouts.

Meanwhile, Yuzvendra Chahal, who never fails to grab the headlines with his activity on social media, has hogged the attention yet again by his revelation in an Instagram video which he did with singer Rahul Vaidya. Chahal was spotted sharing the screen on Instagram with Rahul Vaidya where the leg-spinner revealed that Hardik Pandya is a good singer in the team.

“We have a few… (Suresh) Raina bhai sings really well. Then Mohit Sharma sings well too. In the team, Hardik is also not bad, he is good,” Chahal said during the Instagram live video.

“We have had so much talk on coronavirus. So, I thought why not listen to some music and talk about music,” added the leg-spinner.

Hardik Pandya was set to make a comeback in South Africa ODIs

In another Instagram live video with Rohit Sharma, Chahal had also revealed that he hasn’t bowled a winning spell since a long time and he is waiting eagerly to deliver one such spell.

The much-awaited Indian Premier League 2020, which was slated to start on March 29, was postponed to April 15 in the wake of the covid-19 debacle. However, considering the current situation, reports have suggested that the tournament might get called off and pushed further.

Fans will have to wait a little longer to see Indian stars like Virat Kohli, Hardik Pandya, MS Dhoni, Rohit Sharma and Yuzvendra Chahal in action. Hardik Pandya was set to make a comeback in the Indian squad post his back injury but due to the pandemic, the series was called off after the first ODI.

With the outbreak of coronavirus, all the cricketing activities have come to a halt and it’s quite normal to see the Indian cricketers spending their time across social media. Recently, Shreyas Iyer had also conducted a Question & Answer session with his fans on Twitter while Rohit Sharma had also done an Instagram live session with Kevin Pietersen and Chahal.
