Team India once again take field against the World T20 champions West Indies in the second and last T20I of the series after they lost the first game by the narrowest margin of a run. MS Dhoni once again won the toss and decided to bowl first. The wicket is a paradise for the batsmen and Dhoni has always been comfortable chasing.
After winning the toss Indian skipper said, “We want to take the positives from yesterday.” They made one change in the squad and Stuart Binny has been dropped. Leg-spinner Amit Mishra has been included in the squad for the second game. He bowled just one over in which he was hit for 5 sixes, bowled a wide while the last ball cost him another run.
West Indies on the other hand, opted to not tinker with the lineup. There was no clarity on Chris Gayle’s availability since he was termed injured for the last game. Both the openers Johnson Charles and Evin Lewis did enough to ensure none among them looked like the weak link. The other fact that went their way is that no team usually wants to change the winning lineup and since West Indies won the game there was no real need to drop or bring in someone.
