Preview:

The Australia Women now are only one game away from finishing their tour of the Caribbean Islands undefeated. They bagged the 3-match ODI series by a 3-0 margin with comfortable wins in all three matches. The Aussies Women came into this tour after a successful stint during the Women’s Ashes in England. The visitors saw their first defeat only in the last T20I match after they won everything.

The West Indies Women have not allowed the T20I series to narrow down the losing margins compared to that of the ODI series. The slowness in pitches didn’t let the World champions to play positive cricket. Comparing the strengths of both the teams going into the final T20I, the hosts look nowhere near to the Meg Lanning-led team. They would be hoping to punch above they wait for getting that unlikely win.

Weather Condition/Report:

The rain kept playing hide and seek with the ground staff on Monday leaving the 2nd T20I with a delayed start. However, on Wednesday, we can say the match would begin on time. The chances of rain are quite less during the match timings as per the weather forecast.

Pitch Condition/Report:

The Kensington Oval was even slower during the 2nd T20I compared to the first match. It is unlikely to see a better track suiting to batters at this venue. If a brand new track gets used for the last match of this series, it would surely work in favour of the batters.

Average 1st inning score: 109 (Women’s Twenty20s since 2014)
