Rario is a platform that allows cricket enthusiasts to collect and exchange officially licensed cricket moments on the blockchain in the form of officially licensed player cards. These cards are digital assets that allow cricket fans to own the most famous events in the history of cricket. The users can buy, sell, and trade the cricket player cards and get their hands on their favorite moments from the sport.

Rario has signed deals with eminent national and international cricketers to make their iconic moments, in cricketing history, a part of the officially licensed player cards. But what if Rario had to create a franchise in a league match? Have you ever imagined what would be Rario’s Playing XI if they were a T20 franchise? Let’s have a look!

Virender Sehwag was known for the aggressive shots that he played while opening the innings, and hence he will be the team’s opening batter. Supporting him would be the Indian women’s team’s sensational opener Smriti Mandhana. The duo holds the ability to provide a great start to the team and thus will kick-start the game.

The former South African captain Faf du Plessis will lead the Rario team as well, showcasing his grit and composure on and off the field. The acclaimed Proteas player is known for his brilliance with the bat in the Indian T20 leagues and other franchise-based tournaments in the format. He would play at No. 3 and will be the right fit in the top order to handle the pressure.

The Bangladesh all-rounder Shakib al Hasan will be in charge of the team’s middle-order apart from contributing to the bowling unit. The prolific player is known to breathe fire with the bat, provide his team with crucial breakthroughs across formats with the ball, and will be a great pick at No. 4. Indian batters Venkatesh Iyer and wicketkeeper batter Rishabh Pant would play at No. 5 and No. 6 respectively.

The two will be the finest choices for the middle order. Though Pant is already an acclaimed middle-order batter, Iyer is someone who can adjust to any situation he is put under, and can even score runs down the order. The two are known for their power-hitting, and that skill would lead the team towards a big score.

Dinesh Karthik needs no introduction. His performance for the Indian side and his franchise in India’s T20 league have been commendable. The batter can wreak havoc on the field and win the matches single-handedly for the team. His inclusion in the Rario’s playing XI would be a must. Jason Holder will play the all-rounder’s role in the lower order of the team. His big shots in the death overs will come as a bonus for the team, apart from his pace bowling.

The pace bowling duo of Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Ishant Sharma will handle the bowling department to provide their teams with crucial breakthroughs. Their experience of being in the Indian setup for a long time would benefit the team a lot, and it will be a nightmare for the opposition batters. Lastly, the Indian veteran Zaheer Khan would lead his way with the ball and provide the team with some magnificent spells. His dangerous and quick deliveries will scare the batters away, thereby restricting them to score big.

It would be interesting to see this team put up a fight against an opponent in a league. A team that comprises so many legendary, and well-known players would be really exciting to look out for. It would be a complete package- a game starting with the openers’ composed innings, carried forward by the middle-order batters anchoring the game, and concluding with the finishers playing their powerful shots. What more do we seek from a game of cricket? It would be a complete entertainer if Rario XI goes into a league to put up a show!

Rario Playing XI: Virender Sehwag, Smriti Mandhana, Faf du Plessis (C), Shakib al Hasan, Venkatesh Iyer, Rishabh Pant (WK), Dinesh Karthik, Jason Holder, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Zaheer Khan, Ishant Sharma.
