Bangladesh have already pocketed the three-match series against Zimbabwe, having already taken a 2-0 lead. Tamim Iqbal and Co won the second match on Sunday, July 18 at the Harare Sports Club by three wickets. Shakib Al Hasan’s return to form with the bat will give the visitors a sigh of relief.

Shakib is also the leading wicket-taker of the series with seven scalps, including a five-wicket haul in the first game. The Tigers found themselves in trouble in the second match, but they managed to hold their nerves. The third and last game of the series is set to take place on Tuesday, July 20.

Zimbabwe will now be eyeing 10 points in the ODI Super League. They have put in some inspirational performances, though the team has faltered overall. It won’t be easy for them to beat an in-form Bangladesh team, who will be looking for a clean-sweep going into the upcoming T20I series.
