WI v PAK, 3rd T20I Preview: Pakistan aim to clinch series

With Pakistan acquiring an unassailable lead of 2-0 in the 4-match T20I series in the Caribbean, the T20 World Champions will look forward to level the series ahead of the all important 3rd T20 match at Port of Spain, Trinidad. The Caribbean side would be disappointed for not seizing the advantage in the key moments during their fixtures against the visitors. Pakistan, on the other hand, would look to seal the series with another win and bag the series home.

All eyes would be on the latest sensation of Pakistan bowling, Shadab khan, who single-handedly turned the match around for his side in their recent outing. After setting a dismal total of 132, Pakistan were on all fours as West Indies were cruising through their innings with the help of Samuels’ flair and able support from Walton. With a spell of 4-16, Shadab Khan gave his side a sniff at restricting the home team short of their total. He was ably complemented by Hamid Khan, who held his nerves in the last over and sealed the win for his side.

With 2 games down and 2 more to go, the focus now shifts to the all important 3rd T20I. Here are some of the key players to look forward to ahead of the match up.

Evin Lewis

This hard-hitting opener is a T20 specialist who can take the game away in a span of just 10 overs. Also he’s due to make an impact in the series. With another opportunity to play in his backyard, this Trinidadian would look to make the most of it.

Shadab Khan

With 7 important wickets in 2 outings, Shadab Khan has created havoc within the ranks of the West Indian ranks. Needless to say, the leg spinner will hold the key so that the visitors seal yet another series win away from home.

Samuel Badree

One of the top rated T20I bowlers, Badree would look to nullify the effects of his opposite number in the Pakistan camp.

After a dismal performance in the first two matches, West Indies would want to make necessary changes in the lower middle order, so as to finish an innings at pace. The management would look to slot in the exceptionally talented Jason Mohammad at his home ground, without making wholesale changes in the lineup.

After a successful campaign with the ball this series, the Pakistan team management would not want to tinker much with the bowling combination in the forth coming match. Also, they would bank on the likes of Fakhar Zaman and Imad Wasim to deliver with the bat as well.
