Rishabh Pant played an effective inning of a 31-ball 44 in the previous game. He has been consistent in recent times and has added a bit of destruction to his batting abilities, especially with the finisher role. Meanwhile, Sanju Samson came into the playing XI at the expense of Hardik Pandya in the previous game and made an impact with a 23-ball 30. His innings included two fours and a six and helped the side post a competitive total on the board. He has taken up responsibility in the last few innings and will be looking to continue his good form.

Dinesh Karthik started the series with a stunning match-winning innings in the first game but has not managed to produce big scores after that. With his ability to consistently find the gaps, Karthik will eye another good inning under his belt before the Asia Cup.
