The way IPL brings joy to all the fans, the clashes between India and Sri Lanka are way too many which has begun to bore even the most avid cricket fans. However, even the Indian skipper Virat Kohli indicated the same candidly in a show recently.

The Indian team played Sri Lanka across all formats twice in 2017 and it was like a heavy dose of boring matches for everyone. While the Men in Blue annihilated the team from the island nation in front of their home crowd during all the 9 matches of the tour, the return tour was organised hastily which was also won easily by India. The two teams also clashed in the Nidahas Trophy recently which was tri-nation T20I series and most of the superstars were rested from the tour for India.

Kohli’s response

The famous comedy show in Behind the Stumps had the cricketers from Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) on their show as they were asked some really funny questions. The trailer of the show has been released on the social media website Twitter which is getting hilarious responses. The likes of Virat Kohli, AB de Villiers, Brendon McCullum and Yuzvendra Chahal were invited for the show and they had a lot of fun amidst the tough times they are facing on the field in the ongoing season.

During the candid show named Behind the Stumps, one of the anchors asked Virat Kohli, “Can we just stop playing Sri Lanka now? Aren’t you bored?” The Indian skipper was quiet for a second and then responded, “Yes.” The full show will release on April 24 on Eros Now as more fun done by the cricketers will be decoded.
