The match starts at 2:00 PM local time (2:00 AM GMT) (7:30 AM IST).

Preview:

Melbourne Renegades bounced back against Adelaide Strikers to register their first win of the season on Sunday. The Renegades failed with the bat in their first match as Strikers recorded a 6-wicket win over them. In the second match, the England pair of Danielle Wyatt (61) and Tammy Beaumont (41) came to the rescue as the Renegades chased down the target of 153 with an over to spare.

They will now face Perth Scorchers who will make their first appearance in this season. The Meg Lanning-led Scorchers look pretty strong compared to the last edition. The inclusion of the England all-rounder Natalie Sciver and Ireland’s Kim Garth strengthens the middle-order of Perth and contribute with the ball as well. The top three is covered by Lanning, Amy Jones and Nicole Bolton.

Weather Condition/Report:

The Junction Oval is expected to witness sunny conditions on Wednesday. No rain is predicted for the next two days at this venue.

Pitch Condition/Report:

The two games hosted by the Junction Oval during the weekend were not on true batting surfaces which are usually found at the venue. With a different pitch is expected to be used for this game, we might have a slightly better track for the batters on Wednesday.

Expert Advice:

As many as seven players value 9.5 credits and more. As a result, only five of them can be picked. We have excluded Tammy Beaumont, Danielle Wyatt and Sophie Molineux in one team each. Molineux usually takes time to get going at the start of the season. Another gamble is between Nicole Bolton and Amy Jones of Perth Scorchers.

Probable Winners:

Perth Scorchers are expected to start the season with a win.
