West Indies and India will meet in the tenth match of the ongoing World Cup 2022 at the Seddon Park in Hamilton. The Caribbean side has won both their games so far while the Indian team has played two and won one. West Indies shocked the hosts New Zealand in the opener of the World Cup by clinching the match by three runs as they also defeated England in their next game. Mithali Raj‘s India beat their rivals Pakistan but lost the Kiwis in their second match.

West Indies player Hayley Matthews has been in great touch so far in the two matches as she is the leading run-scorer and also the highest wicket-taker for her side in the tournament. Matthews has struck 164 runs and taken four wickets in the two games. She smashed a brilliant century in the first game against the White Ferns and took two wickets as well. Notably, Stafanie Taylor-led West Indies side has clinched both the matches by a narrow margin of three and seven runs respectively.

On the other hand, Mithali Raj and her team comfortably defeated arch-rivals Pakistan by 107 runs but were brought back down to earth by the hosts New Zealand as they lost the match by 62 runs. India would like to win their second match of the tournament by beating the in-form West Indies team. India has a great track record of six wins out of six against the Caribbean team in the World Cups.
