The Women’s World T20 in the West Indies has been a witness to some riveting encounters. However, both the semi-finals turned out to be one-sided encounters as Australia and England came out trumps without much fuss. The Aussies won their first three matches but lost to India in the final group match. Nevertheless, they annihilated the Windies by 71 runs in the previous encounter.

England’s first match against Sri Lanka in the league stage was washed away, but they made a comeback to beat South Africa and Bangladesh. Subsequently, the finished in the top two and brushed aside India in Antigua by eight wickets. Both teams are brimming with confidence and the final tomorrow at Sir Vivian Richards Stadium, North Sound in Antigua is expected to be a thriller.
