World Cup 2015 Match 39 Group B India vs Zimbabwe; India will look to make it 6-0:
Date: 14 March 2015 Time: 0630 IST
Venue: Auckland
India
India are in red-hot form with 5 wins under their belt in the World Cup and have qualified for the QFs. They have everything going for them in batting and bowling department. Their only concern is the non-existent form of the talented Rohit Sharma. He will get another chance against Zimbabwe to make some runs before the quarterfinals.
Indian bowling has kicked up a notch in fire power department with all the 3 fast bowlers Yadav, Shami and Mohit bowling well over 140 kmph using the bounce and swing to their advantage. But in Hamilton, they will find more assist in swing rather than bounce which will make life more hell for Zimbabwean batsmen.
Indian batting has been in wonderful form and will look to score 400 or more if they get a chance to bat first. Also Dhoni might give Ajinkya Rahane some more batting practice by sending him up the order at no.4. Otherwise there is nothing more to worry for the Indian skipper Dhoni who batted himself in to form against West Indies.
Zimbabwe
Zimbabwe will look to end their dismal World Cup on a high note with a respectable performance against India. This will also be the last ODI for Brendan Taylor as he has announced that he is quitting his Zimbabwe career for a stint in English country team with Nottinghamshire.
Zimbabwe came very close to winning the match against both Ireland and Pakistan, but could not finish the game with a win. They will also look to give India a tough fight in their last game before saying adieu to the 2015 World Cup. Brendon Taylor will look forward to ending his Zimbabwe career on a high with a win, or at least with some dignity and pride.
Zimbabwe bowlers will have a tough time handling the in-form batting line up of India. Also Rohit Sharma will get another chance to make runs against a minnow team to gather some momentum. Sean Williams, Craig Ervine, Taylor, Raza and Masakadza will look forward to score some runs against Indian bowling who have bowled out every single team they have played against either batting first or second.
Anyways Zimbabwe will look forward to end their 2015 World Cup journey with a prideful finish.
