Those were heartbreaking scenes for the Indian fans when New Zealand won the semi-final by 18 runs. Many hoped that India would definitely be a part of the final. Thus, the aficionadi even purchased tickets for the final assuming that their team would lift the trophy once again. However, to their dismay, that didn’t happen. Given the current circumstances, New Zealand all-rounder James Neesham put up a special request for the fans.

Since India is not in the final anymore, there has been a lot of black marketing that is going on. The already purchased tickets are being sold at an increased price as the fans are trying to make some profits. This has deprived the actual cricket enthusiasts of witnessing the glorious final as the prices for the tickets are sky-high.

Thus, James Neesham has urged the Indian fans who don’t want to come to the final to resell the tickets only through the official platforms. The all-rounder added that he understood they want to make profits but urged them to give an opportunity to all the genuine cricket fans. He felt that the final of the World Cup 2019 shouldn’t just be for the wealthy group of society.

“Dear Indian cricket fans. If you don’t want to come to the final anymore then please be kind and resell your tickets via the official platform. I know it’s tempting to try to make a large profit but please give all genuine cricket fans a chance to go, not just the wealthy,” wrote James Neesham in his tweet.

The performance of James Neesham so far in the tournament
