The Indian team got its calculation wrong at the important time of the tournament. It was a close contest between the top teams of the cricketing world but the Black Caps delivered the knock-out punch out of the blue. In the end, the Asian team lost its second consecutive World Cup semi-final and it left a bitter taste in the mouth of Indian fans.

India reached the knock-outs of the championship in a convincing fashion. Before the semi-final loss, the team only dropped a single game in the group-stages. Though the loss against England didn’t deter Men in Blue it proved to be a fatal blow for the qualification chances of Pakistan.

While most of the cricketing fraternity enjoyed the game and showered praises on the Indian team’s tenacity some of the Pakistan ministers took the time to troll their neighbours after their exit from World Cup. This time the Indian fans have to take it on their chin as they relished the moments when Pakistan missed the knock-out bus.

Enjoying rivals defeat

In 2019 World Cup Virat Kohli‘s men took on Pakistan in Birmingham and as usual, the neighbours were not able to stand the Indian storm. It was India’s 7th consecutive win in the ICC championship against their arch-rivals. On the other side, the Pakistan team was trolled mercilessly after the game. Though the team found its mojo in the latter half of the tournament they didn’t qualify for the business end of the tournament.

Pakistan’s fortunes depended on India’s run and they even rooted for Men in Blue when the side took on Brits in a mouthwatering contest. Unfortunately, India lost their tie which didn’t go down well among the Pakistan cricket fans.

So this time when the Indian team lost their semi-final against New Zealand they tried their best to troll the Blue team. Even the well-known personalities of the Pakistan government mocked their neighbours via twitter posts. It contained congratulatory messages for Kane Williamson’s side along with puns regarding the Indian team’s sportsmanship and moral values.
