Pakistan and New Zealand are going to clash in what is a must-win match for the Men in Green in the ongoing ICC World Cup 2019. New Zealand is still undefeated in the tournament as they have one leg in the semi-finals, while Pakistan has five points from 6 games and are looking to make a beeline into the knockouts on the basis of some points and lots of luck.

They received a lot of flak for their loss against India with captain Sarfaraz Ahmed copping the majority of it. The players were heckled on and off the field and Sarfaraz even faced abuse at the hands of the fan inside an England mall, when his kids were with him. However, the team has bounced back big time with a win over South Africa at Lord’s and kept their dream of making it into the semis alive and some credit goes to the skipper for getting his team into winning mode.

ICC shows many moods of Sarfaraz Ahmed in a fun post

On the day of the New Zealand-Pakistan tie, both the teams were practising on the ground and having some fun and ICC managed to get some pictures of Sarfaraz in a joyful mood. The images show him go from sceptical to funny and hilarious to joyful, which made for an amazing collection of moods. The fans also loved the images much and displayed their love for the captain.

Here is what ICC posted, “The many moods of #SarfarazAhmed #WeHaveWeWill”

Pakistan need to win this encounter against the undefeated Kiwis who have been playing some brilliant cricket so far, getting out of jail against South Africa and West Indies, only thanks to centuries from skipper Kane Williamson. The Pakistani team had previously faced South Africa, who were going through a bad patch themselves and the Men in Green must not get into a sense of false confidence with their win over Proteas.

Meanwhile, the fans on the social media showed much support for the Pakistani captain and loved the photo collage shared by the ICC.

Here are some reactions from the fans:
