Wriddhiman Saha names the new competition for Sara Ali Khan

Ranveer Singh’s movie Simmba is a huge success at the box-office. The film is critically acclaimed and has got a good social message associated with it. It is the new-comer Sara Ali Khan who was paired opposite to Ranveer in the lead role. Even though it is just her second movie, Sara has successfully managed to get the fans to go gaga over her with her splendid acting skills.

However, Indian Test wicket-keeper Wriddhiman Saha feels that Sara has got some tough competition. The 34-year-old shared a tweet on Twitter where he named the competition for the new heroine. Surprisingly, it is his daughter Anvi who was grooving to the tunes of Simmba in front of the television set. The little girl was dancing for the song ‘Aala re aala’. Saha also tagged Karan Johar and his production house Dharma Movies in the tweet.

The road ahead for Saha

Wriddhiman Saha has been out of action for a while now. He’s suffered multiple injuries last year and thus had to miss out on a majority of the action. He wasn’t a part of the squad for the tours to England and Australia. In his absence, a young Rishabh Pant came into the reckoning and replaced him.

Pant was terrific down under where Team India scripted history by winning their first series ever in Australia. The 21-year-old scored 350 runs in four games, the second-highest on the list. With Rishabh Pant almost cementing the spot, Saha has now got about six to seven months to prove his prowess. He’s got to perform extremely well if he is to make a come back into the Test team. At the moment, he is working hard at the NCA in Bengaluru to regain his fitness.
