England opened their points tally with a big win over Pakistan after losing their opening game against India. Being put into bat, England showcased the firepower in their batting over the Pakistan Women as they posted a huge total of 377/7 in their 50 overs thanks to some brilliant hundreds from Natalie Sciver and Heather Knight.

In reply, Pakistan never looked like chasing as they rather appeared to be playing out the overs. Opener Ayesha Zafar scored a fifty before rain interrupted in the 30th over of their innings with Pakistan at 107/3; half of the DLS par score of 214 runs. England were declared winners on the basis of DLS as the rain didn’t allow further play and they won by 107 runs.
