Team India is currently getting ready for the upcoming two-match Test series against New Zealand. The preparations are on high from both the sides as the series opener is scheduled to be played on 21 February in Wellington.

Virat Kohli and Co. is currently on a tour to New Zealand that has turned out to be a roller-coaster ride full of ups and downs until now. They whitewashed the Black Caps in the shorter format by 0-5. But, in the ODI series, the hosts marked a strong comeback as they won it by 3-0 against Men in Blue.

Now, it will be interesting to watch the battle of two heavyweights in the two-match Test series with some big points kept on the line for the ongoing World Test Championship. Currently, Team India is leading the charts with 360 points whereas New Zealand is in 6th position with 60 points. Hence, both the teams will have an opportunity to grab some important ratings.

Virat Kohli, who remains quite active on the social media shared a still along with his teammates Prithvi Shaw and Mohammed Shami making some hilarious faces. The Indian skipper took to his Twitter handle and shared the funny picture for the fans with a quirky caption that read– “Naya post-Sundar dost.”.

The caption had the surname of none other than the young Indian all-rounder Washington Sundar. And, Sundar, soon reacted over that post with an epic reply saying– ” Yes bhaiya” to Virat Kohli’s picture.

Washington Sundar, the young all-rounder from Chennai made his debut back in 2017. So far he has played as many as 1 ODI and 23 T20Is in which he has gathered 20 wickets across all the formats. He is one of the promising young Indian all-rounders in the domestic circuit, who is also looked down as a part of Team India’s plan going into the T20 World Cup that is slated to be held in Australia from October in this year.
