Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma are one of the most adorable celebrity couples in recent times. From supporting each other in their respective careers to not shying away from expressing their affection for each other out in the open, the pair have been giving us serious couple goals quite some time now. Recently, one of Kohli’s closest friends in the Indian outfit, Yuvraj Singh addressed Sharma as ‘Bhabie’ (sister-in-law) and it’s breaking the internet.
Both Kohli and Singh are currently playing in the ongoing season of the Indian Premier League (IPL) for Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) and the Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) sides respectively. While Kohli has registered quite a few significant knocks in the season, Singh hasn’t been as lucky and was dropped from KXIP’s Playing XI in their recent encounter against the Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH). The to teams are on the fifth and third spots in the rankings table, respectively.

Anushka Sharma, herself, was present at Bengaluru on her birthday to see her husband’s team take on the Mumbai Indians (MI) in a crucial encounter. RCB played well on a slow Chinnaswamy pitch and with the help of a blistering 24-run last over from the bat of Colin de Grandhomme, posted a total of 168 runs for the MI side to chase down. Aided by some top-notch death bowling by Md. Siraj and Tim Southee along with 2 wickets on consecutive deliveries from Umesh Yadav saw RCB register their third win in the tournament.
Kohli, who’s time and again made gestures of a loving husband, dedicated his team’s victory to his wife, who had been cheering for him all the while from the stands. “My wife is here and it’s her birthday. This was a little gift for her. It was very important to achieve this two points in front of her,” said Kohli, in the post-match presentation ceremony as Anushka Sharma sported a wide smile across her face.
